News from Rishikesh / Noticias de Rishikesh

All is well here in Rishikesh, the weather has cleared
so its dry and a little cooler now.
We had a wonderful trip to the mountains with Swamiji
after the September course.Six students, plus Pradeep,
a cook and a driver went up to the Holy Temple of
Madmaheshwar. The walk was long and a little hard, but
it was well worth it..... we took three days to get
there, spent two days at the temple, and came back via
Gopeshwar, stopping at an Ashram to practice yoga at
the feet of a very old and saintly man,who had spent
more than 50 years at that very spot.
Paul and I then went up to Gangotri and Gomuk, the
source of the Holy Mother Ganga, spending a few days
enjoying the calm peace and clear air, before
returning to Rishikesh to begin a new course starting
yesterday. The theme is Marychiasana , and Ardha
Matysasana( dont think I spelt that correctly!!). We
began the first class with Dog Pose-Palm Balance for
45minutes. Today was much the same..........
There is another course beginning around 1st November
and I believe it might be based on the Sun
Salutation.........
